If First Draft is missing
First Draft belongs to the LinkedIn composer. Check the content channel and confirm that your role has content creation access. It is not the writing surface for Blog, Website, or Other.
Check the chosen category in team settings → First Draft. Category training is separate from creating or naming the category itself.
If category setup fails
The training flow needs three to five valid sample posts. Use substantive sample text or supported image material, and check any validation message before submitting.
Custom instructions can be up to 1,000 characters. If the setup reports a request failure, keep a copy of your examples and instructions before retrying.
If you hit a trial limit
Trial teams can train up to three categories, and draft generations have a separate trial limit. Repeatedly retrying does not remove a limit. Ask the Owner to review the subscription action shown in the dialog.
For other generation failures, check the message and your connection. If the problem continues, contact Support with the team, category, and error. Review generated copy before using it even when generation succeeds.
