Review the consequences first
Open Settings → Account → Delete account. The app checks the teams you own and shows what must be resolved before you can proceed. Use Download your data first if you want an account export.
For owned teams, follow the ownership or team-deletion choices presented in the dialog. The delete action remains unavailable while required team decisions are unresolved.
What happens to team content
Files you uploaded are not deleted with your account; they belong to the team. Your posts and comments can remain with other teams and be shown as Deleted user.
The confirmation shows the account restoration period and explains when permanent removal occurs. Read the current message before confirming rather than assuming deletion immediately removes every shared record.
Confirm the request
Complete the required team decisions, then enter the confirmation value requested by the dialog and choose Delete account. Contact Support promptly if you need help after submitting the request.
Leaving a single team and deleting your whole account are separate actions. Use team settings if you only intend to leave one workspace.
