Publish on the destination platform
Publish the finished item using LinkedIn, your blog, website, or the appropriate external platform. Pyroplane’s scheduling and approval workflow does not automatically publish the item for you.
For LinkedIn text, Copy post helps transfer the copy. Check formatting, attachments, and actual LinkedIn mentions on the destination platform before publishing.
Confirm publication in Pyroplane
- Copy the public URL of the item that went live.
- Open the corresponding content in Pyroplane and choose the action to mark it published.
- In Confirm publication, paste the URL into Live URL.
- Choose Confirm published and wait for the save to finish.
Requirements and later changes
The live URL must use HTTPS. Creators can confirm publication of approved content; Owners and Admins have broader workflow permissions. A LinkedIn item with a non-LinkedIn URL shows a warning so you can check the destination.
Published content is locked for editing. You can maintain its destination using Add live link or Update live link when available. A live link records the destination; saving it does not verify the content on that website.
